The history and discography of the SKIDS now spans over 30 years, from the release of Charles in 1977 all the way through the studio albums from Scared to Dance in 1979 to Joy in 1981. 

Numerous live albums and compilations have been released through different labels from Virgin Records "Fanfare" compilation in 1982 up to the year 2007 when both a compilation and a live album were released by EMI.
